Program rules

Eligibility and approval

Applicants must use a verified DI Companion account, provide accurate creator information and control the channels submitted with the application.

Participation begins only after server-side approval. DI Companion may reject, suspend or restore a profile under these rules; no client action can grant the partner role.

Attribution

The latest valid partner click before a new account is registered is eligible for attribution. With consent the signed first-party referral lasts 30 days; otherwise it lasts only for the current session.

After verified registration, one partner is bound to that account permanently. Existing accounts cannot be rebound and self-referrals are not eligible.

Commission and review period

The commission rate is 40% of the first eligible verified subscription payment after discounts. Calculations use integer USD microdollars and a fixed versioned policy.

Renewals, test and smoke payments, free access, manual technical entitlements, non-live provider payments and later payments do not generate a commission.

A commission remains pending for the configured 14-day review period and becomes available only when it remains valid. An authoritative refund reverses a pending or available commission.

Advertising disclosure

Partners must disclose the commercial relationship clearly, prominently and close to the recommendation. A link label hidden at the end of a description is not sufficient for video promotion.

YouTube creators must use the paid-promotion setting where required. TikTok creators must use the content-disclosure setting and follow all applicable platform and local rules.

Prohibited promotion

The following promotion methods are prohibited:

• Spam or unsolicited mass messaging.
• Misleading promises about DI Companion, subscriptions or earnings.
• Fake reviews, fabricated results or impersonation of DI Companion.
• Concealing the affiliate nature of a link.
• Self-referrals or registering additional personal accounts.
• Cookie stuffing or forced referral storage.
• Automated clicks, bots or artificial traffic.
• Incentivized traffic without prior written approval.
• Advertising on DI Companion brand search terms without permission.
• Illegal content or content that violates platform rules.
• Using official Blizzard assets in a way that implies endorsement.
• Tampering with links, tokens, statistics or payment evidence.
• Publishing another person's personal or payment information.

Fraud review and suspension

DI Companion may inspect deduplicated clicks, repeated anonymous identifiers, abnormal click patterns, conversions and payment evidence. Raw IP addresses are not shown to partners.

A suspended partner cannot access the dashboard or receive new commissions. Existing records remain available to administrators for audit and reconciliation.

Earnings and payouts

The current program records pending, available, paid and reversed commission states. A payout request mechanism is not available at this stage.

The dashboard payout area is read-only. It does not collect wallet details, create payout requests or promise a processing deadline.

Changes to the program

A new material rule set receives a new terms version. New applications must accept the version published in the server configuration.

Commission records retain their applicable program, rate and policy snapshots so later rule changes do not silently rewrite past calculations.
